Termly Focus - Autumn Term 2020

We were all very excited to return to school. The children have settled back in incredibly well and have been in very good spirits.
The theme for this term half term is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, followed by Festivals and Celebrations as we move towards Christmas. We have cracked on with the wall display, making some fabulous handprints using paint to make marks. It was messy but great fun!
We enjoyed a lovely trip to Kingsmill Park. The children were thrilled to see people walking their dogs and laughed at the ducks quacking in the water.
All of the children have resumed their physiotherapy – ascending and descending the stairs independently, exercising and stretching! New equipment has arrived for some of the children and the physios have been working hard to ensure the children get the maximum benefit from it.
We are all enthusiastically looking forward to the rest of the term, having lots of fun with our usual activities and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Welcome to Hedgehogs. Our team consists of Sandy Garner (Teacher), Elaine (L4 Learning Support Assistant), Amy (L3 LSA), Kerry, Megan, Leanne, Natalie and Becky (L2 LSAs). All members of the team work hard to offer a nurturing and supportive learning environment for the children to thrive and grow.
