Information notice regarding the coronavirus
All East Riding schools are actively monitoring the situation around the coronavirus and are acting on any advice given by the Government, Public Health England and specific advice provided by the Department for Education.
Following the latest guidance from the Government, if anyone in your household starts to display flu-like symptoms defined as a fever of above 37.8c or a persistent cough, everyone in your household must stay at home for 14 days. If a pupil arrives at school displaying any of these symptoms they will be sent home immediately. Further information can be found at the links opposite.
If you feel you need to keep your child at home due to their vulnerability you can make that decision. This will be recorded as an authorised absence and will not incur any penalties.
We are following local authority advice and aiming to keep the school and residence open as long as possible. We are continuing to monitor our situation and will let you know as soon as we can if we are concerned about our staff/pupil ratio. The welfare of our pupils and staff remains our highest priority.
We are continuing to restrict visitors to the school and are reviewing all visits out of school on an individual basis according to government and local authority advice.
These continue to be very difficult times for us all and we ask that you continue to support us in these preventative measures.
