Kings Mill School & Residence Admissions Policy

School Admissions

At Kings Mill School all our pupils have a statement of Special Educational Need or an Education Health Care Plan. The school caters for pupils with Severe and Profound Learning Disabilities from aged 2 – 19 and admissions are coordinated through the East Riding of Yorkshire Councils Special Educational Needs team.

Residence Admissions

Stays in the residence are determined by a panel of representatives from agencies in conjunction with local authority policy.  The local authority oversees applications and determines which pupils are most suitable for placement in agreement with the school.
