School Lunches
At Kings Mill school we provided a hot lunch cooked on site by our catering team at a cost of £2.80 for Primary and £3.45 for Seniors (Year 7 onwards) and Sixth Form per day following menus prepared by the School Meals team at East Riding of Yorkshire Council. The menus are on a three week rolling pattern and can be seen on Dojo.
If your child prefers to bring a packed lunch please include an ice pack to keep food cool as we do not have the facilities to refrigerate packed lunches. We have pupils with nut allergies, therefore nuts and nut products should not be sent into school. We also ask that children do not bring sweets or fizzy drinks in their packed lunches.
Pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School meal.
Some of the older pupils in KS4 & KS5 and the Sixth form have different lunch arrangements and these will be communicated by the class teacher.
