The residence provides short break provision for young people currently on the Kings Mill School aged 8 to 18 years and age 19 following request and assessment.
Stays in the residence are determined by a panel of representatives from agencies in conjunction with local authority policy. The local authority oversees applications and determines which pupils are most suitable for placement in agreement with the school.
