We have had a lovely start to the year in the Butterfly class, welcoming back our old friends as well as meeting all our new butterflies. It has been great fun exploring all the different toys and books we have to play with both inside our classroom and out in the garden. Our favourite activities this week have definitely been playing in the sand and water trays with our friends as well as painting on the easel using both brushes and our hands.

Each day we have been sitting together for circle time to sing our good morning, lunch and home time song as well as to explore our new topic ‘Zoo and Farms’. We had great fun listening to the song ‘Old Macdonald had a farm’ and stopping each time to identify and make the animal noises.
