Our 'Learning for Life' continues in Senior 2, with regular travel training sessions out in the local community. Using roads close to school, one or two pupils at a time participate in intensive road safety lessons, learning how to keep themselves safe as they develop their independence. This half term, Robert and Stuart are working on identifying dangers near roads, and learning how to avoid them. This is an ongoing and essential part of our Key Stage 4 curriculum, and the pupils are already making good progress.
