News from the Foxes' Den

23 October 2020 (by charlottedowson)

It’s officially spooooky season in Class Fox. This week we have been looking at how people celebrate Halloween. One way we found was pumpkin carving to create our jack-o-lanterns.

After designing our pumpkin faces on paper, we split into groups and began scooping out the inside of the pumpkins. Eww they were so squidgy! Some of us were brave enough to try a bit of pumpkin to eat, but it's not a Foxes favourite. Our scary pumpkins look great in our classroom and we really enjoyed making them!

Since our Foxes have been so good this week, we thought we'd reward them with a week off. We have done lots of fabulous work this half term and all our Foxes should be proud.  We hope you all have a lovely half term, hopefully full of treats and no trick, and we can't wait to see you back in the Den.
