Firstly, Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Information morning.
The Information morning was an opportunity to talk to professionals face to face and try to answer questions parents had, and also to try and allay any fears parents have as their child gets older and moves on through Kings Mill
There was a cross section of different service providers, from the 0-25 SEND Team up to post 19 and beyond.
The feedback from parents was varied but mainly very positive, parents who spoke to us afterwards were pleased they had attended and felt much more informed and relaxed about the provision available.
One parent commented:
"I really gained a lot ore than expected on the open day. Quite a lot of contacts i can use now, never mind the future. it was really interesting to see all the services available and how passionate the people were in promoting their cause / specialism. you did a wonderful job in organising it for everyone and we were so lucky to have it all provided in one place as opposed to researching it all ourselves. Well done"
