News from the Foxes Den.....
This week we went on our very exciting school trip to Dig in York. The children sat really well for the journey both there and back. Once there we had many exciting activities to try, firstly we were taken on a tour by our very lovely guide Bede. He told us lots of historical facts before the children were allowed to dig in the specially designed areas. Each area contained different artefacts from different time periods, it was very interesting for us all to learn about the different things that have been used in daily life over the years.
After this we got to look and sort through different animal bones and teeth, trying to identify which ones belong to which animal.
Before we went home the children had the chance to try out a variety of different interactive games and exhibits.
