Rabbit Termly Focus - Spring 2020

charlottedowson on: Rabbit Termly Focus

All of the children in Rabbit class have started the new term well and have settled back into the routine of school. This term we will continue to focus on communication, tolerating skills and learning life skills as well as reducing problem behaviours. The topic this term is 'Tell me a story' in which we are focusing on Traditional Tales, so the children will be taking part in lots of arts and crafts related to this topic.

Autumn Term 2019

charlottedowson on: Rabbit Termly Focus

This year in Rabbit class we welcome 3 new pupils who have settled in well, and welcome back the remaining 5 who have also settled well back into the routine of school. After such a long holiday and with some new staff faces Rabbit class will be getting to know each other for the first few weeks and 'pairing' ourselves as fun and enjoyable so that the children are happy to work with us. We will then focus on the children's individual programs with a focus on behaviour management and communication. The topic for this term is "Long ago and far away" and so we will be interacting with as many dinosaurs, Ancient Egyptians, Knights and Spacemen as possible during our Natural Environment Teaching.

Christmas Fun

abalower on: ABA Lower

It was fun putting up the Christmas tree

The boys worked so hard, they needed to chill out!

Our trip to Piglets Adventure Farm was lovely

First playing outside, bouncing, riding Go Carts and tractors

Then it was time for the Sleigh ride!!!

Mrs Claus took us to see Santa!!

He wrote our names in his book (His pen only worked if we had been good)

He gave everyone a magic key

The boys put their keys in to the lock to get in to the toy shop

Everyone choose a toy.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!!

Welcome to Lower ABA.  Our team consists of Libby Grant (Teacher), Beth (L3 Learning Support Assistant), Jess, Heather and Mel (L2 LSAs).  The class is supported by Jodie (Assistant Behaviour Analyst).  All members of the team work hard to offer a nurturing and supportive learning environment for the children to thrive and grow.
